Marketing Consent Policy

Last Updated: May 2026

We send marketing communications only where you have given free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent (GDPR Art. 6.1.a). You can withdraw at any time — no questions asked.

1. What Marketing Communications We Send

Product updatesNew features, reports, and improvements to Growino.
Educational contentSEO/SEM tips, guides, and benchmark data.
Promotional offersPlan upgrade offers, annual discount campaigns.
Webinars and eventsAnnouncements for online events hosted or co-hosted by Growino.

We do not send marketing on behalf of third parties. We do not sell your email address to any mailing list or data broker.

2. How We Obtain Consent

Consent is collected at:

  • Account registration — an explicit opt-in checkbox (unchecked by default) labelled "I'd like to receive product updates and marketing emails from Growino."
  • In-app settings — you may opt in or out at any time from your account preferences.
  • Landing page sign-up forms — same unchecked opt-in checkbox. Pre-ticked boxes are never used.

Acceptance of the Terms of Service does not imply marketing consent. Transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, invoices) are sent without requiring marketing consent and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.

3. Consent Records

We record for each marketing consent: the date and time, the exact wording of the consent request presented, the channel (web registration / in-app settings), and the source IP address (retained 90 days). Records are retained for the life of the account plus 3 years, as required to demonstrate lawful processing.

4. Withdrawing Consent

You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by any of:

  • Clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in any marketing email — takes effect within 48 hours.
  • Updating your preferences in Settings → Account → Email Notifications.
  • Emailing privacy@growino.com with the subject "Unsubscribe".

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal. You will continue to receive transactional emails.

5. Email Service Provider

Marketing emails are sent via a third-party email service provider (ESP). The ESP receives your email address and name solely for delivery purposes and is bound by a data processing agreement. The ESP does not use your data for its own marketing.

6. Email Tracking

Marketing emails may contain a single tracking pixel to record whether the email was opened. Each email also contains a unique link token to record click-throughs. This data is used solely to measure campaign effectiveness and improve content relevance. You can disable image loading in your email client to prevent open tracking.

7. Children

We do not knowingly collect marketing consent from persons under 16. If we learn that a child under 16 has provided consent, we will delete the record and suppress future communications.

8. Contact
